chakras
The word means "wheel" in an ancient Indian language. These
round energy centers are aligned along the front of the spine.
Their location corresponds to many of the accupuncture meridians
and most of the chakras encompass the ductless glands, such
as the thymus (heart chakra), the
thyroid (throat chakra), or the adrenals
(root chakra). |
